Our Policy: CoreMind subscriptions are generally non-refundable, consistent with industry-standard AI subscription services. Exceptions apply for billing errors, accidental charges, and where required by consumer law. If you have a concern, contact us — we review every case fairly.
01 Overview
This Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions for refunds and cancellations for all products and services offered by Fortress Technologies Hub Inc. ("we," "our," or "us"), including CoreMind (coremindx.ai) and API Fortress (api-fortress.fortresstechnologieshub.com).
Our approach to refunds is consistent with industry-standard AI subscription services. Subscriptions are non-refundable by default, with clearly defined exceptions. When you cancel, you retain full access to your paid tier until the end of your current billing period — you are never cut off early.
All refund requests are subject to review. We reserve the right to approve or decline requests at our sole discretion, subject to applicable Canadian consumer protection law.
02 CoreMind Subscription Policy
2.1 General Rule
CoreMind Pro and Elite subscription fees are non-refundable once a billing cycle has been charged. This applies to both monthly and annual plans. If you cancel your subscription, you will not receive a refund for the current period, but you will retain full access to your paid tier until the end of that billing cycle.
You keep your paid features until the end of the current billing period. No early cutoff.
Subscription fees already charged are non-refundable except under the exceptions below.
2.2 Exceptions — When Refunds Are Issued
Refunds are granted in the following specific circumstances:
- Billing errors: If you were charged incorrectly due to a technical error on our part, a full refund will be issued
- Accidental purchase or duplicate charge: If you accidentally subscribed or were charged twice, contact us within 14 days and we will review and refund if valid
- Renewal charges: If you forgot to cancel before a renewal date and have not used the Service since the renewal charge, contact us within 48 hours and we will review on a case-by-case basis
- Significant service failure: If CoreMind experiences a prolonged outage or failure attributable to us that materially impacts your use, you may be eligible for a credit or partial refund for the affected period
2.3 EU, UK, and Consumer Law Jurisdictions
If you are located in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, Turkey, or another jurisdiction with statutory cooling-off rights, you are entitled to a full refund within 14 days of your initial purchase, in accordance with applicable consumer protection law. This right applies to your first subscription only and does not apply to renewal charges.

2.4 Cancellation
You may cancel your CoreMind subscription at any time through Account Settings → Billing → Cancel Subscription, or by emailing [email protected]. Cancellation stops future billing and takes effect at the end of your current billing period.
03 CoreMind Developer API Credits
CoreMind Developer API credits are non-refundable once purchased, regardless of whether they have been used. Credits do not expire, so unused credits remain available in your account indefinitely.
Exception: If credits were added to your account due to a verified billing error on our part, a full correction will be made. Contact [email protected] immediately.
Please purchase only the credits you intend to use. We do not offer refunds for unused credits under any other circumstances.
04 API Fortress Refund Policy
API Fortress is a B2B enterprise security service billed via bank transfer or e-transfer. Refund terms are governed by your individual enterprise service agreement. In general:
- Payments made for a service period already commenced are non-refundable
- If we are unable to deliver the agreed service due to issues on our end, a pro-rated credit or refund for the affected period will be issued
- Early termination terms, if applicable, are specified in your service agreement
- Disputes regarding service delivery should be raised in writing to [email protected]
Note: API Fortress billing is handled directly via bank transfer or e-transfer. No third-party payment processor is involved and chargeback provisions do not apply to API Fortress.
05 Non-Refundable Items
The following are not eligible for refunds under any circumstances:
- CoreMind subscription fees for billing periods already charged, outside of the exceptions in Section 2.2
- CoreMind Developer API credits, once purchased
- Accounts terminated due to violation of our Terms of Service or Acceptable Use Policy
- Refund requests submitted more than 90 days after the original charge
- Taxes, banking fees, or other third-party charges
- Renewal charges not raised within 48 hours of the charge
06 How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, follow these steps:

Use the subject line "Refund Request — [Your Account Email]"
Include the following
Your account email, transaction ID or invoice number, the product (CoreMind or API Fortress), the amount charged, and a clear description of your reason
We review and respond within 3 business days
We will confirm receipt and let you know the outcome of your request
Approved refunds processed within 5 to 10 business days
Refunds are issued to your original payment method. Your bank or card provider may take additional time to reflect the credit
07 Chargebacks
We encourage you to contact us directly before initiating a chargeback with your bank or card provider. Most issues are resolved quickly through direct communication, and a chargeback is rarely necessary.
Initiating a chargeback without first contacting us may result in:
- Immediate suspension of your account pending investigation
- Permanent restriction from creating new accounts with our Services
- Recovery of associated fees if the chargeback is found to be invalid or fraudulent

08 Service Credits
In certain cases we may offer service credits as an alternative to a monetary refund. Service credits:
- Can be applied to future CoreMind subscription renewals or API credit purchases
- Are valid for 12 months from the date of issuance
- Are non-transferable and carry no cash value
- Will be communicated to you in writing before being applied
You may decline a service credit and request a monetary refund instead, subject to the eligibility terms in this policy.
09 Special Circumstances
If you believe your situation warrants consideration outside the standard policy — such as a medical emergency, a prolonged service disruption, or an exceptional billing issue — please contact us and explain your circumstances. We review each case individually and may, at our sole discretion, offer accommodations.
Submitting a request does not guarantee a refund. Exceptions are granted entirely at our discretion and are not a precedent for future requests.
10 Canadian Consumer Protection
This Refund Policy is subject to applicable Canadian consumer protection legislation, including the Consumer Protection Act (Ontario) and any other applicable provincial or federal laws. Nothing in this policy limits any rights you may have under applicable law.
If you believe your consumer rights have not been respected, you may contact the relevant provincial consumer protection authority in addition to reaching out to us directly.
11 Changes to This Policy
We reserve the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be effective when posted with an updated "Last Updated" date. For active subscriptions, the policy in effect at the time of your most recent purchase will generally govern that transaction. We will notify registered users of material changes via email where applicable.
